How it works
The machine, the money, and the maintenance — explained without the sales gloss.
Open the door. Take what you want. Walk away.
A Valorian smart cooler doesn't have buttons, selection codes or a spiral to get stuck on. It works the way a fridge works, with the payment happening quietly in the background.
Tap to unlock
The customer taps a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at the reader. The card is authorized — not charged — and the door unlocks with an audible click.
Take anything, take several
No selecting, no limits. They can grab one drink or fill their arms. They can put something back and take something else instead. It behaves exactly like a store cooler.
Close the door
AI cameras and per-shelf weight sensors reconcile what left the cooler in about 60 seconds — the manufacturer rates recognition accuracy at 99%. The card is charged for what was taken and a receipt goes to the customer. If a charge is ever wrong, the customer contacts us and we refund it the same business day.
We see it instantly
The sale, the remaining stock, the internal temperature and the machine's health all land in our dashboard in real time. That's how we restock before a shelf goes empty.
The division of labor
This is the part most hosts want in writing. Here it is.

- Repairs, parts and technical support
- Pricing, planogram and seasonal changes
- Every customer refund and complaint
- Card processing, reporting and any applicable taxes

You handle
- Floor space — roughly a fridge-and-a-half footprint
- One standard 110V outlet within reach
- Reasonable protection from weather and freezing
- Pointing guests toward it when they ask
That's the entire list. No staff time, no keys, no cash drawer, no purchase orders, no responsibility for anything that goes wrong inside the machine.
How a free machine pays for itself
We buy the machine and the product. When someone buys a Gatorade, we make the margin. That's the whole business — there is no hidden fee waiting for you in month three.
Our locations take a machine as an amenity: a modern, quiet, 24/7 service for their guests or staff, at no cost and no effort.
What about a share of the sales? For locations with serious foot traffic, a commission is worth discussing. Most of our hosts take the machine as an amenity and leave it there — but if you think your volume justifies it, ask and we'll give you a straight answer for your site.
Electricity, honestly: a refrigerated cooler adds roughly $7–19 a month to your power bill depending on the model; the Freezer 550 is nearer $30. We'd rather you hear that from us than find it on a statement.
Take the 60-day trial instead
We'll place a machine at your location at zero cost for 60 days. You watch how your guests use it and what your front desk stops getting asked for. If it doesn't earn its floor space, we pull it out — no obligation, no argument, no invoice.
Let's see if your location is a fit
Tell us a little about your property. If it makes sense, Jeff comes out, looks at the space, and you have a machine within a couple of weeks. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
